Louise is a General Practitioner leading women’s health and menopause at Grafton Medical and Google Wellness Centre for Centric Health. Her approach to patient care is grounded in building trust and empowering her patients to take control of their health journeys with confidence, offering reassurance through her expertise and support. She is passionate about providing accessible, understandable health information and bridging the gap between healthcare providers and the general public.
Her commitment to patient education and empowerment extends to her leadership role in Menopause and the City, a 2023 Smart D8 innovation project that was shortlisted for an Irish Healthcare Award. Through this initiative, she is transforming menopause education by equipping women with valuable resources for understanding menopause. Additionally, her work with the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP) and the Irish Heart Foundation has enhanced access to digital medical knowledge for patients, with an emphasis on women’s health.
In her advocacy for women’s health, Louise also co-hosts the Lady Bites Podcast, where she shares her expertise and insights to amplify discussions on women’s health, empowerment, and well-being. She is the current vice chair for the Endometriosis Association of Ireland (Endo Ireland) where she focuses on advocacy.
