Annmarie Sliney
Annmarie Sliney is the Director of Midwifery and Nursing in Dublin. With over two decades in maternity care, she previously served as Assistant Director of Midwifery, Nursing and Clinical Midwife Manager and staff midwife roles in Ireland and the UK, including at The Portland Hospital for Women and Children.
She holds a BSc in Midwifery, RNP, Dip HE, and a Master's degree in Healthcare Leadership from the Irish Management Institute (2018–2020), and is committed to safe, women-centered care, research on midwife skills, and leading during challenges like the Covid-19 pandemic as a single mother of twin daughters. Annmarie contributes to media discussions on pregnancy advice and hospital governance.
